A classic, fragrant basil known for its large, tender leaves and rich flavour. It's perfect for salads, and summer dishes. Our absolute favourite for making fresh, homemade pesto. The large leaves make it easy to harvest. 

 

How to grow
Sow indoors 4–6 weeks before last frost, or direct sow once soil is warm. Plant seeds ¼" deep and keep soil consistently moist until germination. Transplant or thin to 8–12" apart.

 

Growing notes
Full sun. Harvest regularly to encourage bushy growth and prevent flowering. Grows 12–24" tall.
